Citizens held their breath. The disappearance of the three-year-old girl, missing for three days, suggested the worst. Fortunately, she was finally found, alone, in a ditch along Highway 417.
"What wonderful news that Claire Bell has been found! So we are delighted, it's a relief," commented François Legault at the National Assembly. "Our hearts were with little Claire Bell."
The Prime Minister thanked the Sûreté du Québec, as well as the Ontario police forces, who had drones flying over the area where the girl was found. "We're also told that the people who passed on the information were helpful," he insisted.
